Frucor Suntory welcomes research and development students

Being able to welcome our second intake of food technology students in late November is a huge honour for us.

The internship programme – a partnership between Frucor Suntory and the Callaghan Innovation – enables students to gain real hands on experience in their chosen field.

The students will be working alongside our research and development teams in Auckland and Napier until mid-February.

Senior Scientist Ursula Hosking says the programme gives these ambitious students practical experience in their chosen field.

“For most of our students this is the first time they get to actually work in a large scale business environment, and be part of our research and development sites in Auckland and Napier.”

Ursula says the summer internship programme also enable us to cultivate relationships with future talent. ​​​​​​​
