Our Executive Leadership Team
Darren Fullerton is our Chief Executive Officer and has led the Oceania business since 2020, introducing a renewed vision for the company and key strategic initiatives to unlock our growth and potential.
These have included a sharpened focus on our blockbuster brands, V and Boss Coffee, as well as a $400M investment into a new greenfield production and distribution facility in Swanbank, Queensland, to complement our New Zealand Operations.
Darren has extensive experience leading food, beverage and consumer products businesses through critical periods of change. He has a strong focus on future-proofing the business and achieving long term sustainable growth.
Darren holds a wealth of beverage industry knowledge following an 18 year career with PepsiCo across multiple functions, including as the CEO of Australia and New Zealand. Before joining Frucor Suntory, Darren also led Winc, a market leader in office products and business solutions across Australasia.
Leanne Marran is our interim Chief People Officer and works with her team to deliver on the employee experience and ensure there is high engagement across the business to create and foster the magic that is at the heart of our culture.
As the leader of the People & Culture function, Leanne is focused on promoting the benefits that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) bring to a business and encouraging more women into senior roles.
She has lived and worked in HR roles around the world, including Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, Central & South America, Mexico, Canada and across ANZ with leading B2B, pharmaceutical, FMCG and beverage companies, and most recently with sister company Beam Suntory.
Tom Santoki is our Chief Financial Officer and leads the Finance function across the Oceania region.
Tom plays a key role in the day-to-day operations and future business planning and corporate development. Recently relocated from Suntory’s head office in Japan, he brings his wealth of business knowledge to our expanding business.
Tom has held several financial leadership roles within the Suntory Organisation, including Head of Finance at Suntory Beverage & Food in Japan, Finance Director at Schweppes International Limited in the Netherlands, Deputy CFO at Lucozade Ribena Suntory in the U.K, and Director of Corporate Planning at Pepsi Bottling Ventures in the U.S.
Allison Yorston is our Chief Marketing Officer and leads the marketing team with a Gemba centric approach; encouraging her team to embrace new strategic platforms that drive relevance with our consumers and moves our business forward with agility.
Allison recently led the Energy and Transformation portfolio to new heights, reigniting consumer love for V Energy with a renewed focus on bringing them back into the brand with the return of the V Energy ‘Bugs’, from one of Australia and New Zealand’s most loved ad campaigns, to launch V Refresh.
She has also been instrumental in the growth of our own Suntory BOSS coffee, which is now firmly established as the most popular ready to drink coffee beverage across Australia and New Zealand.
Allison has a strong history within the FMCG industry, having worked with many blue chip companies, including Unilever, Arnotts, Fonterra and Sanitarium.
Drew Fairnham is our Chief Commercial Officer and leads the Sales and Operations team across the region with a customer-centric approach to day-to-day activities.
Drew is dedicated to developing our people to maximise performance and opportunity for both the employee and business.
A natural people leader, Drew plays a crucial role in ensuring the organisation is connected and aligned to achieve sustainable profit growth.
He has more than 20 years’ FMCG experience and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in sales, marketing and general executive management including leadership roles at PepsiCo and Mrs Mac’s.
Ruth Muller is our Chief Research and Development Officer and leads product innovation. Ruth has been a crucial player across many key projects including Frucor Suntory’s transition to rPET packaging and new product formulations like V Refresh, V Sugar Free Blue and flavoured NZ Natural sparkling water.
Passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, she is a leading voice within the Frucor Suntory Inclusion Council. This includes sharing learnings from her own lived experience with neurodivergence, and how that has shaped her as a leader.
She has impressive experience in FMCG roles in Australia with Campbell Arnott’s and Unilever in Germany.
Jon Sackree is our Chief Supply Chain Officer and leads Frucor Suntory’s operations, procurement and sustainability departments and also responsible for the wider distribution network that delivers over 30 million cases across the Australia and New Zealand markets each year.
With the constantly changing supply chain landscape, Jon and his team are continually evolving operations to ensure we’re delivering on our customer, consumer and our own business needs. New initiatives implemented into the business have helped Frucor Suntory become a more sustainable business reducing our carbon footprint and minimising water and waste throughout the supply chain.
Jon has over 25 years of experience in supply chain and held previous roles in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Pieter Bakker is our Chief Digital and Information Officer and leads the digital transformation program.
Pieter works with his team to ensure the business can deliver the right technology and tools across the various functions each day and that our organisational capabilities are ready for the business needs of tomorrow.
As the Frucor Suntory business has expanded, Pieter has led several transformational projects for the business including streamlining of our manufacturing operations, enhancing CRM programs and introducing new systems to improve our planning and reporting capabilities.
Pieter joined Frucor Suntory after an extensive career with Ports of Auckland, Zespri, Air NZ, Sovereign and ASB.
